  • The iconic Chieftain Chair is one of Finn Juhl's absolute masterpieces, representing the peak of his career as a furniture designer. At its introduction in 1949, the chair marked a renewal of the Danish furniture design tradition. Today, it is perceived as one of the most important exponents of the Danish Modern movement in the US during the 1950s.

  • Crafted with great attention to detail, our version of the Chieftains Chair is made from FAS grade American black walnut and all back parts in Top Italian Leather (most Chieftains Chair in the market is made from half leather).

  • Never place hot dishes directly on wood surfaces as this could cause scorching. Similarly, prolonged use of hot electrical equipment may also cause scorching.
  • Protect surfaces from incidental marks (like scratching, scorching, and water marks) by using coasters, trivets, felt pads, and non-plastic mats.
